Dylan vient de quitter l\u2019arm\u00e9e. De retour \u00e0 la vie civile, il a du mal \u00e0 trouver comment s\u2019occuper. Lorsqu\u2019il se rend compte que sa voisine est Mindy, la serveuse du restaurant de l\u2019a\u00e9roport o\u00f9 il avait l\u2019habitude s\u2019arr\u00eater pour discuter avec elle, il est ravi. Il a toujours eu beaucoup d\u2019attirance pour elle. Mais est-ce r\u00e9ciproque ? Et que dira-t-elle lorsqu\u2019elle apprendra qu\u2019il est un daddy ?


Dylan est le fr\u00e8re de Evie (le daddy ou le sh\u00e9rif protecteur). Ancien militaire, il vient de faire son retour \u00e0 la vie civile. Victime de stress post-traumatique, il a du mal \u00e0 rester serein. Secr\u00e8tement amoureux de la serveuse du restaurant de l\u2019a\u00e9roport o\u00f9 il d\u00e9barquait r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement, il est ravi de voir qu\u2019elle est sa voisine pour la semaine, puisqu\u2019elle est en vacances.

Mindy a fui son ancien boulot o\u00f9 elle \u00e9tait harcel\u00e9e sexuellement par son patron, Jeffrey. Pour preuve, les bleus qu\u2019elle arbore sur le corps. Elle se r\u00e9fugie \u00e0 Knoxville, et par hasard, se retrouve \u00e0 loger \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 de chez Dylan. Petit \u00e0 petit, elle va s\u2019ouvrir \u00e0 lui.

Mon ressenti final :
<\/strong><\/p>


Une jolie histoire.

J\u2019aime bien cette petite s\u00e9rie, des tomes rapides et complets.

J\u2019avais d\u00e9j\u00e0 rencontr\u00e9 Dylan dans un pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent tome, et j\u2019avais aim\u00e9 sa pr\u00e9venance envers sa s\u0153ur. En prime, j\u2019aime bien les romances qui incluent des militaires, je ne pouvais donc que profiter pleinement de cet opus. Et ce fut le cas.

Pour une fois, j\u2019ai aim\u00e9 le personnage masculin autant que le personnage f\u00e9minin. Ce tome est tr\u00e8s sensible, justement dos\u00e9, parfaitement r\u00e9dig\u00e9. Dylan est un soldat toujours en alerte malgr\u00e9 la fin de son service et je l\u2019ai trouv\u00e9 tr\u00e8s touchant. On le sent profond\u00e9ment marqu\u00e9 par son ancien m\u00e9tier de militaire et je me suis imm\u00e9diatement attach\u00e9e \u00e0 lui. J\u2019ai tout de suite su qu\u2019il serait parfait pour Mindy car tr\u00e8s protecteur. Mindy, elle, est une jeune femme fragilis\u00e9 par les agressions r\u00e9p\u00e9t\u00e9es de son gros d\u00e9gueulasse de patron et la fuite est la seule solution qu\u2019elle a trouv\u00e9 pour lui \u00e9chapper. Retrouver Dylan, un visage familier, la rassure \u00e9norm\u00e9ment et lui redonne l\u2019espoir.

Le r\u00e9cit est rapide mais complet. Comme \u00e0 chaque tome, 45 pages d\u2019une histoire d\u2019amour juste adorable, o\u00f9 l\u2019acceptation de soit et de l\u2019autre est trait\u00e9 avec justesse et douceur. Les pr\u00e9c\u00e9dents personnages font toujours une petite apparition rapide et c\u2019est bon de savoir que tout va bien pour eux.
