L\u2019alcool aidant, ils passent la nuit ensemble. La premi\u00e8re fois, pour Liam. Ayden, lui, enchaine les conqu\u00eates et refuse de d\u00e9velopper tout sentiment. Sauf que Liam remet toutes ses convictions en doute.


Liam est un jeune homme de 19 ans. Depuis toujours, il est amoureux de son meilleur ami, Kain. Puisque Kain est h\u00e9t\u00e9ro, et pour ne pas perdre son amiti\u00e9, Liam garde le secret. Alors qu\u2019il supporte de moins en moins de le voir avec une fille, il quitte la f\u00eate \u00e9tudiante o\u00f9 ils sont, et se r\u00e9fugie sous un saule, accompagn\u00e9 d\u2019une bouteille se vodka. Allum\u00e9 par Ayden, un troisi\u00e8me ann\u00e9e, Liam accepte de monter avec lui dans sa chambre. Ayden se r\u00e9v\u00e8le \u00eatre un amant g\u00e9n\u00e9reux, attentif et passionn\u00e9. Liam, lui, est r\u00e9serv\u00e9 et tr\u00e8s timide.

Ayden a eu le c\u0153ur bris\u00e9 par son premier amour. Refusant d\u2019aimer \u00e0 nouveau, il imagine pouvoir s\u2019envoyer en l\u2019air avec Liam, un premi\u00e8re ann\u00e9e, m\u00eame si cela n\u2019est pas dans les r\u00e8gles qu\u2019il s\u2019est fix\u00e9es : Jamais avec quelqu\u2019un de la fac, jamais plus d\u2019une fois. Liam et ses pommettes roses, sa timidit\u00e9 et sa franchise vont bouleverser cet homme malmen\u00e9 par la vie.

C\u2019est un roman absolument parfait.

Mon petit c\u0153ur a fondu durant toute la lecture de ce roman que je qualifierai d\u2019initiatique et de psychologique.
<\/p>

Liam garde un secret depuis trop d\u2019ann\u00e9es. Il aime son meilleur ami, mais celui-ci est h\u00e9t\u00e9ro. La douleur et la souffrance de ce jeune homme transparaissent tr\u00e8s rapidement entre les lignes \u00e9crites par l\u2019auteure. On d\u00e9marre sur les chapeaux de roue et j\u2019adore \u00e7a ! Tout s\u2019encha\u00eene tr\u00e8s rapidement, pour mon plus grand bonheur. En deux chapitres, l\u2019histoire est pos\u00e9e et je n\u2019ai de cesse de me demander \u00e0 quel moment tout va partir en vrille. Je serais tenue en haleine tout au long du roman, passant par tous les sentiments possibles.

J\u2019ai aim\u00e9 Liam et sa timidit\u00e9, sa souffrance, sa t\u00e9m\u00e9rit\u00e9 des fois, lorsqu\u2019il est au lit avec Ayden. J\u2019ai tellement aim\u00e9 ce couple, ses f\u00ealures, ses interrogations. La d\u00e9couverte l\u2019un de l\u2019autre m\u2019a ravie, ils s\u2019explorent, se compl\u00e8tent. Ayden m\u2019a touch\u00e9 comme jamais, son histoire personnelle est terrible mais en m\u00eame temps, elle est celle qui l\u2019a forg\u00e9e. C\u2019est une belle personne, totalement diff\u00e9rente lorsqu\u2019il est avec Liam et j\u2019ai adh\u00e9r\u00e9 de suite \u00e0 ces actes autant qu\u2019\u00e0 ses paroles.

J\u2019ai lu ce roman d\u2019une traite, attach\u00e9e \u00e0 ce couple atypique et original, mais si charnel et sensible. Le d\u00e9roul\u00e9 de leur romance est coh\u00e9rente et absolument g\u00e9niale, parce que c\u2019est comme \u00e7a que je voulais les d\u00e9couvrir. La fin est guimauve \u00e0 souhait, j\u2019avais un sourire affich\u00e9 sur le visage durant les derni\u00e8res pages.

L\u2019auteure \u00e9crit avec une sensibilit\u00e9 exacerb\u00e9e, incisive et tr\u00e8s psychologique. On sait avec pr\u00e9cision ce que pensent, ressentent et veulent les protagonistes. Ajoutez \u00e0 cela un peu d\u2019humour, des amis compr\u00e9hensifs et des sc\u00e8nes de sexe nombreuses mais po\u00e9tiques, et vous obtenez un roman parfait.
